About us
The Association for Integral Rural Development in Cerrato Palentino (ADRI Cerrato Palentino) is a non-profit entity created on October 20th, 2000 and registered as such on October 9th, 2001 on the Provincial Association Registry.The aim of the Association is to promote economic, social and cultural development in the territory within its scope, while striving to secure the integral development of the area and the respect and enhancement of its resources and endogenous values
It comprises councils, institutions, associations, employers, cooperatives, agricultural professional organizations... and any socioeconomic agent interested in its development.
It directed the rural development program PRODERCAL 2000-2006 from October 2002 until June 2009, which meant an investment in the region of 9,600,000 €, of which approximately 5,600,000 correspond to public investment. In terms of employment, it has backed initiatives that have allowed the creation of 80 direct jobs and the consolidation of another 70.
It is currently managing the Community initiative for rural development LEADERCAL 2007-2013 which began in May 2009 with the signing of an agreement between the Regional Department of Agriculture and Livestock of the Government of Castilla y León and the Development Group.
With a predicted investment of 7,269,600 €, of which 4,000,000 € correspond to public input, it will extend its activities until 2015.
